

1. Copy the com.aescripts.iconlibrary2 folder to the following location:
Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
Mac: System disk/Library (resource library in Chinese)/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions


2. Copy the Icon-Library-2_PS folder to the PS plug-in directory, such as:
Win: .....\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2026\Plug-ins
Mac: Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2026/Plug-ins


3. Run AE REG For PC.reg on Win and install-as-admin on Mac.

4. Open the AE software settings and check *Allow scripts to read, write and access the network
Win: Edit-Preferences-General
Mac: After Effects CC - Preferences - General

AE CC2019.1 or higher in:
Win: Edit-Preferences-Scripts and Expressions
Mac: After Effects CC - Preferences - Scripts & Expressions


5. Open AE or PS and open Icon Library 2 under Window-Extensions in the top menu of the software.
